Linda Vista Phase 2

Linda Vista is the adaptive re-use of a hospital that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, located in eastern Los Angeles. The main hospital building will be converted to 97 affordable apartments for seniors by the noted architecture firm, Killefer Flammang, to Sec. of Interior Standards.

The Los Angeles Housing Dept. funded $4,800,000 and NSP2 provided 8,850,000 for the foreclosed property. A 9% LIHTC allocation of $11,539,000 was awarded in 2013, along with Historic Tax Credits.

The 2.7-ac. site is located near bus lines and the Gold Line light rail, Hollenbeck Park, and a market. The first phase of renovation was the Nurses Building, completed in 2013.

Amenities include a community room with computer lab and patios with shaded seating and barbecue area.
 
100% affordable: 10 units – 30% AMI, 24 units – 45% AMI, 39 units – 50% AMI, 23 units – 60% AMI.
